The recycled low density polyethylene (RLDPE) market was quiet in the week leading up to September 25, as buyers took a wait and see attitude. Asian recycled low density Polyethylene natural film Pellets fell $20 in the past week to $740/mt F.O.B. Southeast Asia on September 25 due to a reduced demand. Sources said buyers were not rushing to secure cargoes. Sources noted that demand had increased as the peak season approached, but it did not translate into a price increase. For now, the market is unchanged. A trader stated that the market is now stable and no more drops are expected. The LDPE film markers are stable in the virgin markets at $1.150/mt CFR Southeast Asia despite limited spot offers.
