In Asia, the market for recycled low density polyethylene was stable during the week ending October 9 due to unchanged fundamentals in terms of demand and supply. The price of natural film pellets made from Asian recycled low density Polyethylene was stable in the week to Oct. 9 at $740/mt, FOB Southeast Asia. Southeast Asia recyclers reported that the market remains bearish and demand continues to be weak. Right now, all of our orders are domestic. A recycler from Indonesia said that exports to China or the US are not doing well. There was optimism, however, that prices will trend upwards following China's return after its Golden Week holiday.
