prices fell week-on-week March 22. RPET clear flakes FOB SE Asia were assessed
$10/mt less week than week, at $870/mt. Market expectations for a pre-summer demand increase remain.
However, FOB SE Asia prices remain rangebound due to the availability of
competitively priced offers by some regional recyclers. A weak crude oil
market, lower virgin PET prices and other market factors are keeping prices
low. The FOB SE Asia PET bottle quality
was $15/mt less than the week prior, closing at $1,050/mt. At 4:30pm Singapore time, the ICE Brent May crude oil
