As demand and supply fundamentals remained steady, the Asia recycled low density plastic market remained stable during the week ending June 12. Asian R-LDPE Natural Film Pellets stable for the week at $800/mt F.O.B. Southeast Asia, June 12.Supply of scrap material was tight and prices remained high. This led to slim margins for producers. The rising freight rates and lack of containers continue to affect producers and recyclers. "Last Month, we ordered scrap from the US but we have yet to receive any containers for shipment." A trader said that it used to take a week or less to get a shipment. The market was expected to continue to soften in June, due to the traditionally off-peak season.
