In the week ending June 5, the Asian recycled low density polyethylene market rose, reflecting the price movements in the virgin LDPE marketplaces. The scrap supply for recycled LDPE is very tight. The quality of thematerial is not good and the resultant color result is not clear,"said an Indonesian producer who receives his scrap supplydomestically.Another Southeast Asian trader also said that he hasnoticed supply tightening, adding that he has received moreenquiries for materials from customers in India, Vietnam andThailand.In the virgin markets, LDPE film grade was assessed up$30/mt at $1,190/mt CFR Southeast Asia, on the back oftightening supply.
