The Asian high density polyethylene market held steady in the week to Nov. 27 amid unchanged demand-supply fundamentals. recycled high density polyethylene natural film stable on the week at $745/mt FOB Southeast Asia while recycled HDPE black blow molding pellets was stable on the week at $565/mt FOB Southeast Asia on Nov. 27. Though global scrap supply from the US, UK and Europe has risen slightly due to the year-end season, weak demand continues to pressure prices downwards, said sources. In China, demand remained lukewarm as buyers adopt a wait-and-see stance to monitor any trade policy developments following the US elections.
