The recycled high density polyethylene market was stablein the week to March 5 amid unchanged demand-supplyfundamentals.recycled HDPE natural film pellets stableweek over week at $765/mt FOB Southeast Asia March 5, whileHDPE black blowmolding pellets were also assessed stable weekover week at $575/mt FOB Southeast Asia.Demand was heard picking up slightly as brand ownersstarted to place more emphasis on recycling commitments, saidsources. However, this has not translated into significant pricemovementsyet.On the supply front, scrap materials for mixed color pelletsremain in sufficient supply though natural color scrap was heardtightening.In the virgin markets, HDPE CFR Far East Asia was assessedstable week over week at $885/mt March 5 while the HDPECFR Southeast Asia and CFR Vietnam markers were assessedup $10/mt at $950/mt due to tighter supply from several plantmaintenances.
