recycled high density polyethylene prices stable in the week to March 22 on
thin trade. Grades with Global Recycled Standard or ISCC certification could
fetch prices from about 30% over prime resin to double the value of prime resin
as recycling was bespoke and the requirements varied widely between each
customer, traders said. Sources said the black HDPE blowmolding grade without
the certifications was offered at around $200/mt cheaper than the natural
grade. Certain global recycled standard grades have been popular due to
contract commitments to manufactures from brand owners, leading to a slightly
bullish outlook for those GRS grades, market sources said. However,
