recycler told Asian Petrochemicalscan that the movement of recycled plastic
resins had been slow because there was an oversupply situation due to increased
production in China. The demand for
recycled resins has remained stable over the past week. The scrap plastic prices in Europe and the US do not meet
the expectations of the recyclers from Southeast Asian countries. Since China banned plastic in 2019, Chinese recycling
