trade. Due to the
low prices of prime resin, recycled PE demand remained weak. Buyers preferred
working with prime material because it was easier. A lack of minimum content laws in Asia makes recycled resin
purchases a purely economic decision. Low virgin PE prices and a weak global
polymers market also cooled buyer interest. Sources said that a tightening of the feedstock market could
