On May 6, Asian isomerized mixed xylene remained unchanged since May 3, at $974/mt at FOB Korea, $990/mt at CFR Unv1 as well as $967/mt at CFR China amid mixed trends in downstream and upstream markets. Paraxylene increased $3/mt, to $1,026.67/mt, CFR Unv1/China. July ICE Brent crude futures, however, fell $0.21/barrel, at $83.62/b, at 0830 GMT. Prices fell slightly by Yuan 15/mt to Yuan 7,700/mt or $929.40/mt based on import parity. The Chinese market was back after the Labor Day holiday.
