Asian isomer-grade mixedxylene dropped
$10/mt on the day to $928.50/mt FOB Korea. It was at $952.50/mt CFR Unv1 but
fell $5/mt to $946.50/mt CFR China Feb. 23, due to weakening upstream oil
prices. The ICE
April Brent crude oil prices fell $1.29/b to $81.09/b in Asian trade at 0830
GMT. This was a rebound from lower levels than $81/b earlier in day. China domestic prices for March MX cargoes ex-tank were reported
at Yuan 7,500/mt or $932.60/mt if you consider import-parity. According to traders from the region, Asian aromatics prices
will continue to rise in March and February as the US's summer driving season
