Asian PVC prices rise $10 to $20/mt due to higher freight rates / CFR China at 7-months high; CFR India is 9-months high / New July Offer can Increase $50-$70/mt

The Asian polyvinylchloride market increased $10-$20/mt from week to week, May 29, due to higher freight rates. CFR China PVC was $10/mt more expensive week-on-week at $800/mt on May 29. This is the highest price since October 4, 2023 when it was $810/mt CFR Southeast Asia PVC rose by $10/mt at $800/mt in the same period. The CFR India PVC Price is up $20/mt from the previous week to $865/mt, May 29. Commodity Insights' data shows that the price is at its highest since August 23, 2023 when it was $885/mt.
