Asian PVC prices are mixed on Jan. 15. Chinese export prices increased due to increased demand in India. Discussions on Chinese import prices were restricted. According to market sources, February's demand is usually weak, particularly in China due to Lunar New Year holidays. New offers were reduced due to the bearish market sentiment. According to sources, a new offer on CFR China was reduced by $15/mt compared to a previous month to $725/mt in February. An offer on CFR Southeast Asia dropped $20/mt to reach $750/mt. A FOB Taiwan offer was reduced by $15/mt, to $685/mt. Sources said that an offer made on CFR India fell by $25/mt compared to a month ago, and was now $760/mt.
