Asian prices for PVC rise by $10-$50/mt following July increases of $25-$150/mt / CFR India at highest level since Sep 2022 / CFR India-CFR China Spread highest since July 2022

Asian polyvinyl chloride prices increased $10-$50/mt on the week of June 19 after initial July offers with a 25-$150/mt rise were announced amid rising freight rates. S&P Global Commodity Insights data shows that the CFR India PVC was $50/mt higher than the previous week, at $980/mt, at the Asian close on June 19. Commodity Insights data showed that the price has been at this level since September 14, 2022 when it was $990/mt. Initial offers for July increased from the previous month by 25-$150/mt. CFR India's price was $150/mt ($980/mt), the highest price since Sept. 20, 2022. CFR China's price was $25/mt ($820/mt) and CFR Southeast Asia’s price was $25/mt ($835/mt).
