Asian PVC market mixed amid quiet holiday trading- Some markets have seen their bottom- May business ended down between $60 and $80/mt from the
previous monthAfter the end of May, some Asian markets
were seen as having hit bottom. CFR
China PVC increased $5/mt on a weekly basis to $800/mt, while CFR India
remained stable at $820/mt. The CFR
Southeast Asia PVC Price fell $10/mt in one week to $805/mt on May 3. Initial quantity for May was sold in the week of April 24 at
$805/mt, CFR China, $760/mt, FOB Taiwan, and $820/mt, CFR India. This is a
$60-$80/mt decrease month over month. Some
market sources stated that after the deals the Asian PVC Market had hit bottom,
