Asian PVC: Stable before Dec announcement / Dec offers will be rolled over to higher offers compared to Nov / China could accelerate PVC exports

The price of Asian polyvinyl was stable from week to week, Nov. 13th. This is ahead of the announcement of December's monthly offers which will be made in a couple of weeks. CFR China PVC was stable week-on-week at $760/mt in November 13, and CFR Southeast Asia PVC also remained stable during this period at $760/mt. Participants are waiting for the announcement of new offers for December. Some market sources stated that December offers will likely either be a rollover from the previous month or slightly higher, reflecting increasing container freight rates. Dollar-denominated freights based on CFR China/Southeast Asia, however, are considered expensive due to the US dollar's rise against major Asian currencies such as the Chinese Yuan.
