Asian PVC : CFR China stable; CFR SE Asia down $5/mt / Dec offer levels remain unaccepted / China accelerates PVC Exports

The price of Asian polyvinyl remained stable or even fell by $5/mt week over week, Dec. 4, as the buying appetite for cargoes in December remained weak. CFR China PVC was stable at $750/mt week over week on Dec. 4. CFR Southeast Asia PVC fell by $5/mt, to $755/mt in the same time period. According to market sources, suppliers are struggling to determine initial offer levels in December due the low demand season. Market sources claim that the CFR China fresh offer was reduced by $20/mt compared to a month ago to $760/mt. CFR India, however, was increased by $10/mt compared to a previous offer to $810/mt.
