price of Asian polyvinylchloride dropped $30-40/mt during the week March 15. CFR
China PVC price fell $35/mt to $855/mt February 15, which is the lowest level
since Dec. 28, 20,22 when it was valued at $830/mt CFR China. CFR India
PVC price fell $30/mt over the week to $890/mtMarch 15, the lowest since Dec.
28, 2022 when it was valued at $830/mt CFR China. This was more than
market expectations. Spot prices FOB China fell $25/mt to $815/mtfor
ethylene-based PVC and $795/mt to carbide-based PVC on March 15. This was due
to a lower buying appetite in India for importedmaterials. According to
