monomer was $1,084.50/mt in March 29, an increase of $38/mt. Most producers were more open to receiving offers, with many
citing higher feedstock costs rather than a decrease in demand. One general-purpose and high-impact polystyrene manufacturer
in Taiwan said that there had been a slight decrease in orders as customers
opted to wait and see. According to
sources, activity in Southeast Asia remained low due to Ramadan. Expandable polystyrene market offers were heard at a higher
