On Nov. 6, CFR China's general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) and high-impact plasticstyrene (HIPS) prices were stable for the week, at $1,215/mt and respectively $1,305/mt. CFR SEA's generalpurpose polystyrene (mt) and high-impact Polystyrene (mt) markers were also stable on a week to week basis at $1,230/mt et $1,320/mt. This reflects the same stability as the CFR China markers. This week, producers generally maintained their offer levels despite unchanged market fundamentals. "SM [price] fluctuates around $1,050/mt. A producer stated that there were no major changes in production costs or demand. The CFR China upstream styrene Monomer Marker was $1,035/mt.
