improved despite a weaker performance the previous weeks. The general purpose
polystyrene market was slightly stronger on April 19 due to lower inventories
heard, and under the sharpest offer of $1,270/mt. This week, producers generally increased their offer prices
amid a slow recovery in China. High impact
polystyrene CFR Southeast Asia assessed $20/mt more than $1,335/mt. This was
after partial consideration of trades and buyer indications heard at
$1350-$1,360/mt. A producer stated that
"we are talking about deals around $1,350-1,360 for CFR Southeast Asia and
