US spot export acrylonitrile prices and
domestic contracts were flat on the week on March 14 as spot propylene
feedstock levels retreated, while ACN trades remained thin. No new export price
indications were heard during the March 8-14 period. Spot exports have remained
stable at $1,450-1,490/mt FOB USGC since Feb. 28. Recent volatility in
propylene pricing is likely to slow export shipments, according to market
feedback. spot March polymer-grade propylene at 61.25 cents/lb FD USG on March
14, stable on the day but slipping 9.25 cents/lb week on week. Comparatively,
PGP prices jumped 17.50 cents from Feb. 28 to March 7. In related-market news,
