propylene markets remained steady despite a lack of trading. The June ICE Brent crude futures contract was down $0.11/mt at 4:30 pm
Singapore time from its previous Asian close of $86/lb, which occurred at 830
GMT. After taxes and conversion rate, the domestic price in Shandong rose Yuan
125/mt to Yuan 7,325/mt. This comes out at $934.5/mt. A Chinese buyer explained that many PDH plants in Shandong either reduced
their run rate for technical reasons or delayed their restart following planned
turnaround. Oriental Energy, a Chinese company, plans to delay the start-up of its
600,000 mt/year dehydrogenation of propane plant in Maoming, Guangdong, to the
