LCY Chemical will close Kaohsiung 250,000mt PP Line April 1-5Propylene FOB Korea saw an increase of
$5/mt on March 31st, as tighter spot supplies due to a planned turnaround among
majors in Korea raised bid and offers. At 4:30pm Singapore time, the May ICE
Brent crude oils futures contract fell 5 cents/b from its previous Asian close
of $78.69/lb. According
to reports, propylene supplies from South Korea were tighter because four
Korean producers were preparing for a planned turnaround in April. A propylene producer from Korea stated that supply has
dropped to H2 April due to the turnaround in Korea. According to plant news, Taiwan's LCY Chemical Corp plans to
close its 250,000 mt/year production line...
