CFR China marker slumped $60/mt on the week to $810/mt ending May 26, as
swelling spot supply and weak downstream demand decimated buying. The
domestic China market was bearish. East China propylene dived Yuan 25/mt
day on day to Yuan 6,225/mt ex-tank and this comes in at $810/mt CFR China
after taken into account for taxes, VAT and currency conversation. The
propylene market is losing ground as many PDH producers in China were ramping
up their run rate given a softer propane feedstock price. In the weekly
market, the CFR Taiwan price down $65/mt on the week at $820/mt May 26, above a
