Propylene prices steady day on day at $855/mt CFR China Nov. 6 as the market waited for potential developments around Chinese stimulus measures. Amid stable supply and demand fundamentals, market participants held a cautiously optimistic view on the approval of fiscal stimulus Nov. 8, a market source said. In South Korea, the market focus was on the increased cargoes headed toward China, according to market sources. "A [South Korean] producer increased term supply to Chinese buyers due to excess propylene feedstock derived from technical problems in its downstream facility," a producer said.
