The spot export price of acrylonitrile in
the US dropped in the week ending June 20. Trades were scarce as the market
awaited monthly contract prices for propylene. ACN exports are $20 lower
than a week earlier, following the fall in CFR Far East Asia and CFR Southeast
Asia. ACN is exported regularly to Asia
according to feedback from the market. According
to one source, prices are expected to settle at around $1300-1340/mt FOB US
