Spot export and domestic contract prices of
normal butanol, 2-ethylhexanol, and 2-ethylhexanol remained the same for the
week. Plasticizer pricing dropped 1 cent per lb due to slow demand. DOTP fell 1 cent from the week at 98-99c/lb
delivered, while DINP dropped 1 cent from the week at 99-100c/lb
delivered. On export, stable pricing indications for NBA and 2-EH March
9, at $1,985/mt respectively, were heard. Prices for
NBA have remained steady since January while prices for 2-EH have been flat
since February 12. Spot March polymer-grade proylene prices at
70.75c/lb FD USG March 9, stable from the day and 2.5c/lb higher that February
