South Asia raffia grade polypropylene is $960/mt CFR South Asia October 9, down $4 from the previous week. This was due to a drop in buying signals for the chemical, along with a slight decline in offer levels on a well-supplied market. Market participants reported some deals at $950/mt for PP raffia/injection grades, but said that these levels are not representative of the overall market, particularly when you look at the volume traded. The market was dominated by offers and buying signals around $970-980/mt. However, the buying indicators for raffia grade material were much lower. They ranged from $940-950/mt.
