India Weekly Styrene Monomer Prices Rangebound amid Thin Trading / Ex-tank prices remain stable from week to week / Limited Spot Supply Supports Premium to CFR China Marker

Market participants remained largely silent in the Indian styrene market during the week of February 21 due to the rangebound fundamentals. The domestic prices in India remained stable at Rupees 99/kg at Kandla Port. Stocks at the port were balanced with a total of 20,211 mt. Market sources say that the arrival of cargoes in Mumbai and Hazira until early March will likely keep inventories stable. Traders noted that the end of year was approaching.
The market indicated that tight spot supply would likely persist for some time.
