This is due to market feedback that higher Asia to WCSA shipping rates are supporting PP pricing. Sources reported steady demand across Latin American markets in a quiet environment. Brazil was noted as the most active. Spot homopolymer is trading at $1.165/mt CFR, which is below the $1.170-$1,250 price range. It moves towards a tradable $1.170/mt, and falls within the $1.140-$1,250/mt for material from Asia.
