JulyAsian polypropylene prices fell week on
week June 14, as upstream price weakness and poor end-product sales continue to
curb the market's enthusiasm. The
CFR Southeast Asia PP Raffia grade fell $25/mt on the week to close at $870/mt. In China, domestic PP prices remained fairly stable on the
week despite bearish sentiment, as higher-than expected turnaround levels in
the country's PP plants and a recovering futures market lent support. Overall sentiment remains poor, as upstream crude, propane
and propylene prices have all weakened in recent weeks, with the propylene poly
