The Asia Weekly Recycled LDPE commentary for February 26 will be published on the 27th of February, as it wasn't published earlier. The Asian market for recycled low density polyethylene was quiet in the week leading up to February 26. On February 26, Asian recycled LDPE film was up $15/mt over the previous week, at $775/mt, FOB Southeast Asia. This is due to higher offers, and an increase in CFR Far East Asia LDPE prices, which increased $5/mt over the past week, to $1140/mt. In recent weeks, domestic LDPE prices have increased in China due to the expectation of tighter supply amid plant shutdowns in China and the Middle East.
