FOB Korea was up $35/mt to $981/mt, CFR SE Asia up $30/mt and CFR China up $950/mt. FOB Korea's marker is $1/mt higher than a last bid of $981/mt, for any loading in March. The laycan is from March 6 to 26. In the last week, the buyer was unable to obtain cargoes of Korea or China origin due to high demand from Pakistan and India. A trader confirmed that the bulk of cargoes coming from Korea were also shipped to Europe. A local distributor reported that the price of ex-tanks from India in Kandla was around Rupees96/kg, or about $1,050/mt.
