February 27 saw a stabilization in Asian
toluene markets, with stronger prices for upstream naphtha. During the Market on Close assessment, there
were no transparent offers or bids. Trading
sources reported that supplies were tight from Northeast Asia in March and
April loading. A producer stated that he expected no cargoes to
arrive in March, but there were a few spots in April. FOB Korea
tradable levels were in the $880-$900/mt range of second-half March H1 April
loading cargoes. FOB China was at $960s/mt with vague laycan suggestions,
because there was limited availability, industry sources stated. Some
