In the week ending Oct. 2, the Asian polypropylene market was mixed. China's markets saw a boost from the need to restock before its holiday, while Southeast Asia had little to no change in terms of supply and demand. The price uptrend on the China market was sustained in the first week of the Golden Week holiday, which began on October 1. This was due to restocking and the improved macroeconomic sentiments resulting from the Chinese government's stimulus measures. PP market activity subsequently slowed as the holidays began.
