Asian Propylene prices stable amid limited discussion / Thin discussion on national holidays in South Korea and Taiwan / Supply from China's PDH plants is expected to resume after the holidays

Propylene CFR China prices and FOB Korea were unchanged from Jan. 24, at $870/mt & $850/mt respectively on Jan. 27 due to the lack of discussions in the spot markets in many parts of Asia. Chinese sources indicate that the majority of market participants are already on holiday for Lunar New Year, which lasts until February 3. This results in a subdued trading and market discussion. South Korean traders are also away until the 30th of January for the Seol Naal holiday, while in Taiwan the local holiday will last until the 2nd of February. In Southeast Asia, a number of markets observe local holidays on Jan. 27.
