On March 9, Methanol prices in Asia were
mixed. India ex tank discussions were mostly rangebound, with offers at around
Rs 27.75-28/kg. A market source said that there
was some delay in loading Kandla port because operations took time to
resume fully after Holi celebrations. According to
a market source, there was some delay in loading from Kandla port due to b>
/b>plant turnarounds. However, this should improve in April as more
production units come online. The ICIS CFR WCI marker and average
were both heard to attract less buying interest. Buyers were
cautious and were looking for discounts over the formula price. A H2
March shipment arrived April, 10,000 mt. The $312.5 to$313/mt. CFR India
