Minimal impact on bitumen complex in India from budget Bitumen prices in Asia were steady to higher in the week to Feb. 5, with Singapore firming on strong buying activity and India bitumen prices increasing slightly, while FOB South Korea prices were stable. FOB Singapore PEN 60-70 bitumen at $445.25/mt on Feb. 5, up $17/mt from the previous week, following bids seen during the Market on Close assessment process. On Feb. 5, Trafigura's bid for a 6,500-mt cargo of PEN 60-70 bitumen loading from Singapore Feb. 23-27 at $445/mt was standing on close. No offers were seen through the week.
