Spot European oxygenated solvents displayed a mixed pattern. Some prices remained unchanged, while others fell in the week preceding April 23. Butyl Acetate prices dropped due to weak demand, despite the limited availability of product. ACETONE/PHENOL The FD Northwest Europe acetone price was Eur1,215/mt on April 23, down Eur5 from the previous week. This is based on a deal done by a trader at Eur1,165/mt FCA North Europe and a statement from the same trader that FD NWE would be at a Eur50/mt higher than FCA.
