Prices for South Asian polypropylene were stable in the week ending Oct. 30 as market fundamentals remained stable amid minimal trading activity due to Diwali in India. On Oct. 30, the PP raffia/injection was valued at $960/mt CFR South Asia, unchanged from the previous week. The adjacent grades of polypropylene, such as BOPP, COPOL and IPP film were also rated stable. According to market sources in India, PP demand was less or more absent this week due to the thin market activity. At the same time, a small number of offers were heard throughout the week.
