On Oct. 16, prices for South Asian polypropylene were stable compared to the previous week, due to balanced fundamentals and a subdued activity in advance of Diwali. On Oct. 16, the PP raffia/injection was valued at $960/mt CFR South Asia, unchanged from the previous week. During the week, there were few new offers due to low demand. This week, the adjacent PP grades such as BOPP, COPOL and IPP film were also assessed to be stable. Market sources reported that "end-users have already removed material to meet demand around festivals." The finished goods have already been placed on the shelves.
