South Asian polypropylene was stable in the week ending Nov. 6, as fundamentals were balanced on a market that had little buying activity. India-based trade sources said that downstream demand for PP was sluggish as usual after Diwali. During the holiday season, many participants on the market were absent. The PP raffia/injection was valued at $960/mt CFR South Asia on Nov. 6, the same as last week. There were few new offers made during the week, and the buying activity was also limited. This week, the adjacent grades of polypropylene, such as BOPP, COPOL and IPP film were all rated stable. The price of Middle East origin material was confirmed at $965/mt CFR India.
