Prices for Polyoxymethylene CIF China remained unchanged at $1.555/mt in March 5. This is below the offers that were heard last week, which ranged from $1,560-$1,580/mt to $1,600-1,700/mt. Market participants are seeing some resistance by buyers who have stayed away from the market. "We are seeing buyers resisting the increased prices. The expansion of POM production in mainland China continues despite the fact that the anti-dumping rate appears to favor POM from UNV1 origin. It is a threat to our business, and we are unable to raise our prices any further," said an UNV1 producer.
