Its 250,000 mt/year LDPE will be taken out of production from June 15-July 29, while its 120,000 mt/year LDPE will be closedfrom June 17 to July 31. The maintenance for both plants will last 45 days. They are currently running at full capacity. Zhongtian Hechuang Energy, a joint venture of Sinopec and China Coal Group, is responsible for the project. In Southeast Asia, tight supplies also drove prices for LDPE.
