Asian PVC markets remain stable before June-offers- Supply seen increasing after
Turnaround- China's ethylene-based PVC
reaches three-year lowSome participants reported that the market
was firming. In fact,-some market sources predicted
that June offers would be stable-to slightly higher from May.-However, they
also said any increase would be limited as PVC-demand is under pressure amid
the global economic slowdown.-In addition, spot supplies are expected to
increase.-Ethylene-based PVC price fell Yuan 150/mt week on week in-the local
China market to be assessed at a three-year low of Yuan-5,900/mt May 10,
S&P Global Commodity Insights data showed.-Carbide-based PVC price dropped
Yuan 100/mt to Yuan-5,800/mt during the same period, the lowest since Nov. 2,
2022,-when it at Yuan 5,700/mt.-China's PVC plant operations are likely to
