South Asian polypropylene was stable in the week ending Oct. 23, as fundamentals were balanced on a market that had little activity before Diwal festival. According to trade sources in India, PP downstream users have been focusing on the festival season and are not making new enquiries. On Oct. 23, the PP raffia/injection was valued at $960/mt CFR South Asia, unchanged from the previous week. The week saw a lack of new offers and a low level of buying activity. This week, the adjacent grades of PP such as BOPP, COPOL and IPP film were also assessed to be stable.
