The CFR China PP prices were unchanged despite new Middle East offers. China's May customs data, released on June 21, underscored the ongoing trend of China's PPhomopolymer exports consistently outpacing imports. In Southeast Asia, downstreamdemand for PP homo raffia/injectiongrades was stable from previous weeks, reflectingthe traditionally slow off-season for Q2 manufacturing. "We are not seeing interest or inquiries, buyers are nothungry and don't want to risk shipment delays," a Middle Eastproducer said.Meanwhile, some buying interest was heard in the region forIPP film and BOPP, with CFR SEA prices for bothgrades up $5/mt on the week.In Vietnam, competitive Korean PP homo raffia/injectioncargo offers were heard, but buyers are taking a wait-and-seeapproach.
