Asian toluene prices were mixed March 6,
amid low supplies and muted discussion. The FOB Korea marker rose $6/mt to
$912/mt, taking cues from stronger crude Futures, upstream naphtha price
and downstream markets. The benchmark
Asian naphtha prices rose $6.50/mt over the afternoon intraday price of
$731.50/mt, to close at $738/mt on March 6. The $13.25/mt price was higher than the previous
assessment at $724.75/mt. Korea producers were absent, with little to
offer and little to show. The prompt
march loaders were the main sellers. However, selling ideas were vague as
buyers and sellers awaited clear direction from crude oil futures and
global demand-supply. "We don't have any cargoes for April," one
